Our Mission
Building the Next Generation of Female Leaders
Sage was founded in August of 2018 to give adolescent girls in underserved communities the resources and support they need to thrive. Our mission is simple: focus on the whole girl through educational involvement, social awareness, financial literacy, and career development.
Girls meet every Thursday at the Club Teen Center from 3 to 5pm. Each session includes study hall, workshop series led by experts like entrepreneurs and mental health specialists, physical activities, and a meal. We currently serve 30 girls from a variety of Southeast Raleigh high schools. Being a SAGE girl also comes with responsibility. Each girl completes a quarterly community service project, learning that leadership means showing up for others too.

How we measure success
We Track What Matters
From graduation rates, program attendance, grade point averages, and employment. We track it all, becuase real mentorship shows up in real outcomes. Since 2018, we have mentored over 100 high school girls and maintained a 100% graduation rate.
